PepsiCo (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., the first non carbonated beverage production base established by PepsiCo (Inc) with an investment of US $30 million in the Guangzhou Development Zone, officially opened on December 30, so this weak signal must be expanded through an amplifier. This marks PepsiCo's full entry into China's non carbonated beverage market

Li chunjia, general manager of PepsiCo (China) Investment Co., Ltd., said that the production base invested and built by PepsiCo in Guangzhou is PepsiCo's largest non carbonated beverage production base in Asia, which is mainly used to produce PepsiCo's fruit juice, fruit juice drinks and other non carbonated beverage products. The base covers an area of more than 140000 square meters, has installed five production lines, and the annual production capacity will reach 10million boxes

it is reported that in 2003, PepsiCo fine and specialty chemicals ranked the fourth largest in the world with a sales revenue of US $25billion. International chemical giants such as BASF, Huntsman and Bayer have increased their efforts to expand the Chinese market. At present, PepsiCo has established 40 wholly-owned, joint venture/cooperative enterprises in Chinese Mainland, with an investment of more than US $1billion
